Amanda is a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor, blending together a multi-disciplinary background upwards of 20 years in the field. With her focus on health and wellness, and her training in the Healing Arts, Amanda’s hands on approach utilizes her knowledge and use of breath, somatics, sensory, biomechanics, and kinesiology while addressing the physical, spiritual, emotional and psychological aspects of integrative health.

 

The inner journey. 

 

 As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been a dreamer and wonderer. I occupied my days connecting with nature and the wisdom that surrounded me. I remember often being told that I have an “old soul”. Even at a young age, I stood up for what I believed in and was concerned about all the workings within the universe. I marveled at how everything was connected because somehow I knew that I was connected to everything. I didn’t really know what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I knew I’d have a story to share. 

As a young practitioner, I was a seeker of the unknown, a seeker of truth. Asking for guidance from the higher powers, I found yoga. A powerful fire was ignited and I knew that I had discovered something that would take a lifetime to comprehend. I vowed to share what I could with others, it became my passion and purpose. To this day, I’m still working on that understanding and I am still in awe of the wonders that exist. 

Through years of consistent practice and teaching I have come to recognize that the journey has always been a short one. From the head to the heart.
